And now they’ve added newborn baby Selena, creating one of the most adorable families I know.

I know I am only two years into my marriage, but it was so endearing to realize that five years and one baby later, John and Bobbi are the same hilarious, quirky couple they were when they said, “I Do.” In fact what’s even more amazing, is that  you can actually seen how their love has grown. They make a great pair and even greater parents. You just know Selena’s life will be nothing short of an adventure….

Although Jacob is not sure yet what to make of grass, he took in everything around him and the joy illuminated from his big blue eyes. I cannot believe how big he is getting— I wish you guys could see this adorable Gollum-like crawl he does, it makes me laugh out loud. every time.

Not only have I known his mother since we were in the third grade, but I was standing along side her in the hospital as Jacob drew his first breath. He came into this world with his eyes wide open, taking every second of life in.

Skip ahead a few months later, and not only are his eyes still bright and wide, but he is becoming quite the little man. His smile, his gestures, every move he makes brings a smile to your face.  I cannot wait to watch him grow; to be there every step of the way, and to tell him “I was there the day you were born!” every chance I get.

With curls sticking every which way, he lights up the room with his smile and all his expressions. The secret key to getting him to smile was when his Papa showed up! They are quite the loving pair.

I love photographing families as they grow, and I especially love having the honor of photographing my friends. It just warms my heart.

At the time, Katie and I were roommates and bar tending  together at night. Little did we know, we would both meet our future husbands within just a few short weeks of each other. We egged each other on as we impatiently waited for our crushes to come talk to us and went over every small detail, as girl friends do… Fast forward 3 years, and we are still hopelessly in love with those same boys who came to visit us at the bar. I love you guys and I cannot wait to see what life has in store for us in the future. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to capture some of your amazing love on film.
